Join Senior Teacher Katie O’Reilly in our 16-week program, “What’s the Buzz?”, designed to build social skills and confidence in preschoolers aged 4-5. This neuroaffirming, evidence-based social and emotional literacy program is recognised as a gold-standard approach and is now used in over 100 countries and several languages. Our Director, Madhavi Nawana Parker, is a co-author of this highly regarded program.
Starting school can be both exciting and overwhelming for many preschoolers. At Positive Minds Australia, we offer a calm and gentle space for children to meet others their age who are also preparing to start school. Our small, tailored groups provide the perfect opportunity for your child to practice new skills in independence, friendship, and confidence.
Key Features of the Program:
- Open to all preschoolers aged 4 and 5, especially beneficial for shy, anxious, or neurodivergent children.
- Encourages social-emotional development through play-based activities.
- Provides children with the opportunity to build confidence and develop crucial social skills.
- Helps ease the transition to school with new friendships and enhanced independence.
Over the 16-week course, your child will engage in interactive activities designed to nurture their confidence and social-emotional wellbeing. Give your child the time and space to develop these vital skills and begin their school journey with ease.
