Katie holds a degree in Primary School Teaching and Drama, improving young people’s, confidence, social skills and emotional regulation.
Katie is known for her compassionate, creative, and flexible approach to helping children and teenagers develop skills to feel more confident, socially aware, and emotionally regulated. Her warm hearted and inclusive nature allows everyone she teaches, to feel seen, valued and connected. Highly skilled in Teaching, Role Play, Modelling and Drama Therapy, Katie brings her Qualifications as a Teacher and Professional Actor to create sessions that are lively and enjoyable.
Katie holds training and accreditation to deliver all of Madhavi Nawana Parker’s evidence-based programs to teach Resilience, Confidence and Social Emotional Literacy including ‘The Resilience and Wellbeing Toolbox,’ ‘The Confident Minds Curriculum,’ ‘What’s the Buzz?’ and ‘Sanguine: Optimism and Confidence in 21 days.’. Katie offers a specialised drama group program for Neurodivergent children and teenagers on Saturday afternoons at our Unley rooms during school term.
